Seasonal essential oils can help your mind and body during the changing of the seasons. VEBA Resource Center’s Holistic Practitioner, Dr. V, suggests adding these four essential oils to an aromatherapy diffuser to benefit from their antimicrobial and immune-boosting perks.

The four spices below offer the following benefits:

  • Cinnamon: Reduces inflammation, stimulates circulation, relieves stress, improves digestion and acts as an antimicrobial.
  • Cloves: Acts as an antimicrobial, improves indigestion, relieves respiratory issues like coughs and asthma.
  • Nutmeg: Relieves joint pain, elevates mood, heals mental stress, acts as a decongestant, enhances breathing.
  • Ginger: Antiviral, increases concentration, soothes inflammation, reduces feeling of stress, anxiety and agitation.

Suggested Diffuser Directions: Fill your diffuser with water and then add two drops each of the essential oils above to create a relaxing aroma throughout your home.
